    The Digital Marketing Mastery class is the highest level training and approved curriculum for
becoming a Certified Digital Marketing Professional.
The class is designed for agencies and brands who want to have a complete, holistic
understanding of the 8 critical aspects of Digital Marketing. So as the name would suggest, it’s
less about “specializing” and more about overall “mastery” of digital marketing.
Each unit is taught by an industry expert via online webinar or in-person sessions and
facilitated each week by a live instructor in a true, small group, classroom-style format with
your team.
 
In addition to the core training modules there are also weekly live Instructor-led Q&A sessions
and discussions relating the course material to real-life business scenarios.

• Paid Traffic & Customer Acquisition Mastery
• Social & Community Mastery
• Email Marketing Mastery
• Search Marketing Mastery
• Analytics & Data Mastery
• Optimization & Testing Mastery

Those who successfully complete Mastery will be eligible to sit for the practical exam and final
to receive their full CDMP designation.

Syllabus

Each week you will master 1 of the 8 core disciplines of digital marketing. Along the way you'll participate in discussions, get instructor feedback and receive specialist certifications after successful completion of each unit exam.

Course Objective:
Introduce students to the 8 core principles of modern digital marketing so that they can gain a full practical understanding of the concepts and strategies required to apply for CDMP practical exam.

Course Schedule:
Week 1 - Orientation
Walk through of the training platform and getting to know other students in the class.
Week 1 - Unit 1: Conversion Funnels & Customer Value Optimization
Objective: You’ll learn how to architect a “conversion funnel” that gives businesses exactly what they want: MORE customers, that are MORE valuable, all while spending LESS to acquire them.

Week 2 - Unit 2: Content Marketing Mastery

Objective: You’ll learn our "Value First" content plan that transforms ice cold prospects at the top of the funnel (TOFU) into loyal buyers of even your most expensive products and services at the bottom of the funnel (BOFU). You'll also learn how to leverage "other people's content" to generate free, organic leads while simultaneouslybuilding your brand's value and authority.

Week 3 - Unit 3: Paid Traffic & Customer
Acquisition Mastery You'll gain the skills you need to help brands and businesses leverage paid traffic channels such Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other demand-gen platforms to grow their customer base

Week 4 - Unit 4: Social & Community Mastery
You’ll learn to assess business goals and employ sound social media marketing practices to meet those goals. You'll also be trained on the most up-to-date social media marketing practices that work TODAY, and will continue to work TOMORROW

Week 5 - Unit 5: Email Marketing Mastery
You’ll learn the three types of email campaigns and how and WHEN to use them.
You'll also learn how to architect the perfect promotional calendar, and how to use automated email marketing to literally "sell while you sleep.

Week 6 - Unit 6: Search Marketing
Mastery Learn how to leverage search channels such as Google, Amazon and even local channels such as Yelp to ensure that your brand gets found...and that when it's found the message your prospects see is a positive one. You already have by leveraging assets you’ve already created. In short, you'll be able to produce immediate results...making you immediately valuable to any business or brand.

Week 9 & Week 10 - Final Exam and
Practical Exam (optional)
You’ll take the Mastery final exam. Upon passing you may sit for the practical. This is optional for those seeking the CDMP designation. A certificate of completion will be provided to all students (inclusive of those that do not complete the designation exams).

Week 7 - Unit 7: Analytics & Data Mastery
You'll learn how to setup a basic analytics plan, and determine the key metrics that your brand needs to track on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. You'll also learn how to setup simple dashboards that alert your brand to potential problems and opportunities BEFORE it's too late.

Week 8 - Unit 8: Optimization & Testing
Mastery
You'll learn a repeatable process that increases converting actions from the traffic

Evaluation & Grading
Students will be graded on unit exams, discussions assignments, and the final course exam.

Coursework will be weighted as follows:
Unit Exams: 30%
Discussions: 35%
Final Exam 35%

Unit Exams:
Unit exams and quizzes are included in each unit and require a 70% or greater to pass. These
are multiple choice.

Discussions:
Discussions will be posted after each office hours call. These will be written responses and
graded on the quality of response and students application of the concepts and strategies
taught in the corresponding week’s lesson. Due dates will be given to you for each assignment.

Final Exam:
The final exam will be multiple choice and require application and understanding of all of the
strategies and concepts from all units. Upon passing with a 75% or greater you can apply to sit
for the CDMP practical Exam. Your application will be reviewed by your instructor, and
evaluated along with all of your coursework.
Upon being accepted you will be able to take the practical exam with will require the completion
of projects such as evaluating business cases and creating assets such as writing blog posts,
creating presentations, auditing websites for SEO health, writing email series and applying what
you have learned from all of the mastery units. Upon passing you will be awarded with the
Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) designation.

Dropping A Class & Transfers
Students considering dropping a course are encouraged to speak with the course's instructor to
determine if options exist for completing the course or if another opening exist at a later date.
A student can drop or transfer to a new class within the first week of the class. A class dropped
during this period is deleted from the student’s record and not recorded or transferred to another
course.
A student can transfer to another class up to 1 time with approval from teacher. An exception
may be made after contacting the instructor for any of the following reasons:
• A severe illness or other debilitating condition that affects the student’s ability to
satisfactorily complete the course.
• The student’s responsibility for the care of a sick, injured, or needy person if the
provision of that care affects the student’s ability to satisfactorily complete the course.
• The death of a person who is considered to be a member of the student’s family or who
is otherwise considered to have a sufficiently close relationship to the student that the
person’s death is considered to be a showing of good cause.
• A change of the student’s work schedule that is beyond the control of the student and
that affects the student’s ability to complete the course.

Certificates and Badges
Certificates display the student’s legal name, graduation date, and area of specialization, along
with the name and badge of the course and the signatures of instructors.
The certificate shows the area of specialization the student has earned, such as Certified
Customer Acquisition Specialists, Certified Digital Marketing Professional.
Students will receive a digital copy of the certificate and physical copy mailed about six weeks
after the student passes the course.
A digital badge for unit will also be issued upon completion of the training.
